away peacefully at her home on Friday, July 21, 2017,
surrounded by her husband, daughter and son-in-law.
She was born April 9, 1945 in Taylorville, IL to the parentage
of the late William C. Sandage and the late Catherine E.
Newman Sandage. At an early age, she later moved to Decatur,
IL.
Cecilia was a loving, easy going, and kind-hearted woman. She
was also a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son,
Jasper Cornelius Morris.
Those left to cherish her memories, a loving and devoted
husband of 28 years, James “Monk” Morris of Eufaula, AL;
four children, Catherine (Hank) Aylward, Christopher Moore,
three grandchildren; Ashley Renee Moore, Christina Marie
Moore, and Brandy Lynn Moore, (children); Melissa McClure
and Kimberly (Darryl) Morris Skinner: brother, David
(Rosalyn) Sandage of Decatur, IL; twenty-one grandchildren;
thirty great-grandchildren; ten great-great grandchildren; and a
host of sorrowing friends and family.
