John Wilson Marshall

Mr. John Wilson “JW” Marshall was born to the late Mr. Edd

and Alberta Marshall on April 12, 1943.

JW accepted Christ at an early age and joined New Mt. Zion.

He later moved his membership to Shiloh Baptist Church and

remained a faithful member until his health began to fail.

He was employed for many years at the Barbour County Road

Department and Lumberyards.

In addition to his loving parents, John was preceded in death

by his siblings, Eddie Ree Marshall, Willlie B. Marshall,

Lessie Bell Bruce and Rufus Marshall.

John passed from this earthly life on June 8, 2017 at 2:36

A.M., at Flowers Hospital, Dothan, AL

He leaves to cherish his memories; his wife, Joann Gamble

Marshall of Eufaula, AL; son, LaDrian Marshall of Eufaula,

AL; granddaughter, Aaliyah Kay Marshall of Louisville, AL;

five brothers, John Edd Marshall, John Earl (Kayochie)

Marshall, Frank Marshall all of Clayton, AL, Roy Lee Hill of

Eufaula, AL, and Micheal (Teresa) Marshall of Georgetown,

GA; six sisters, Ethel Bell (Jimmy) Hamilton, Belinda (Eddie

Dean) Williams of Clayton, AL, Betty (Lorenzo) Wilson of

Clio, AL, Corene Marshall of Clearwater, FL, Joann Ford of

Eufaula, AL and Wanda (James) Wilson of Headland, AL; a

good neighbor, Alex Fenn; and a host of sisters and brothersin-

law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
