Mrs. Alice Faye Grubbs McDonald was born February 1, 1948 to the

late Willie C and Mary Alice Grubbs in Houston County, Alabama.

She later moved to Dothan, Alabama where she attended school. She

was employed with Dothan City Schools until she retired in 1993.

She was a member of North Highland Baptist Church and served

faithfully until her passing. She was preceded in death by her parents,

Willie C and Mary Alice Grubbs; two grandsons, Antonio and

Alexzander McDonald; and a brother, Joe Nathan Grubbs Jr.

Alice leaves to cherish her memory her husband, David McDonald;

five loving sons, Dennis (Elane) Grubbs, Carlos Grubbs, Scottie

McDonald, Anthony (Lorianne) McDonald, and Santonio McDonald;

fourteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren; five special grands

whom she called as her own, Lil Scottie McDonald, Syterrious

Thomas, Azaria Austin, Carlis Austin, and Dennis Thomas; siblings,

Christine Hammock, Bobbie Nell Jordan, Tommy Ray Grubbs, Linda

(Gary) Wheeler, and Anthony (Tiny) Grubbs; sisters and brother-inlaw,

Betty McDonald, Elaine McDonald, and Idaer McDonald; aunts

and uncles, Ceola McCarter, Ira J Saints, Margaret Grubbs, Daisy

Cummings, Sadie Neal, Ada Pearson, Lucille Young, Betty Hollis, JT

Temmis, Eddie Lee (Irestine) Hollis, and Willie D Hollis; and a host

of sorrowing nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends.
