B arbara Ann Dortch Green was born on March 9, 1955 to the late Frank and Danny Mae Davis Dortch in Atmore, Alabama. The Lord summoned Ann home on July 22, 2019 at the UAB Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama.

Ann received Jesus as her personal Savior and remained a faithful member of the Kingdom Hall. She loved fishing and spending times with kids and family. She received her education in Atmore, Alabama. Ann was married to the late Jessie Lee Green and to the union five kids were born.

Ann was preceded in death by her loving husband and son, Jessie Lee Green, Jr. and four brothers and three sisters.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her kids, Corneil (Deidra) Green, Samuel (Melissa) Green , Denetrice (Eugene) Green and Travis (Stephanie) Green; one sister, Ernestine Brown; eighteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren; three sisters-in-law, Vickie Morris, Connie (Jimmy) Jernigan; Julia (Artie) Timbers; two brothers-in-law, Charles (Bobby Joe) Green and Hubert Palmer, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
