Southern Memorial Funeral Home sadly announces the passing of Mrs. Elsie Ross 60, formally of Eufaula Ala. A resident of Georgetown Georgia. Service’s are entrusted to. Southern Memorial. Mrs. Elsie L. Ross was born December 15, 1957 to the late

Elizabeth and Lawyer Thomas.

At an early age she gave her life to Christ. She was united in Holy

Matrimony to Larry P. Ross Sr, and to this union five children

were born.

Elsie and Larry moved to Ft. Lauderdale, FL in 1978 to raise their

family. In March 2017, they relocated to Georgetown, GA, and

she remained there until her passing.

Elsie was preceded in death by her parents, Elizabeth G. Thomas

and Lawyer Thomas; brother, Sammy Thomas Sr; and three

grandchildren.

Those left to cherish her memory includes her husband, Larry P.

Ross Sr; children, Thomas (Kandice) Gosha, Larry (Deidra) Ross

Jr of Ft Lauderdale, FL, Sonya Ross, Rodney Ross, Tishaunta

Ross, and X-zavious Ross all of Eufaula, AL; twenty-five

grandchildren; three great grandchildren; siblings, Annie (Rotimi)

Omotosho of Cary, NC, Michelle Thomas of Eufaula, AL, and

Angela (Toney) Weston of Columbus, GA; ten nieces and

nephews; a host of special friends, to include Chrissanda Merrill,

Latresh McGee and Bryan Ricks.

The day we will always remember; looking in your eyes and

calling you mother.

You are truly like no other. Only God knows the pain you felt, and

how he quickly took it away; Leaving us pained, but for a lil

while.

Mother, Elsie Ross, I will always remember your warm smile; and

that caring voice will live in our hearts, so we will never be apart.
