Mrs. Katie Mack Glenn was born to the late Mr. Malcolm McRae an Lizzie Thomas on December 31, 1932. Later on, Mr. McRae married the late Mrs. Gennie Williams, who was also instrumental in parenting her. She joined Blue Springs Baptist Church at an early age and accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior. She was a very hard worker and faithful church member until her health began to fail. She departed this life on Sunday, September 9, 2018.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Glenn; four children, Ruby Jean Fryer, Frankie Albert Glenn, Bobby Joe Glenn, and Johnny Lewis Glenn; and eleven siblings.
Katie leaves to cherish her love and memories; three loving children, Emma (Arthur) Baxter, James (Sarah) Glenn, and Louise (Frankie) Beasley all of Clayton, AL; daughter-in-law, Helen Glenn of Dothan, AL; three sisters, Annie Bell Lynn, Pearlean Underwood, and Allean Long; twenty-three grandchildren; host of great grandchildren, great- great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. She will be remembered and missed by those whom loved her.

Dear Family and Friends: I received a call from God, Chief Architect, who informed me that my mansion was complete as of September 9, 2018, and I could move in immediately. You knew that I’ve been sending up my timber and preparing for my new beautiful home that only the carpenter could build. Some were a little broad or not long enough, but God accepted it all and made something wonderful. Well, loved ones, my new home is finished and it is such a beautiful sight to behold! It is located in an exclusive estate area, and it sits behind Pearly gates just off a Serene Celestial Shore! Of course, the streets are paved with gold; every day is Sunday, so I’ve been told. I’ve lived many places before my new home was prepared and none could compare. There is peace, joy, and happiness here with no pain to bare. There’s no stride or discontent, but sweet serenity everywhere. I could go on and on about my new home, but I have to go get fitted for my new wings. My new address: Katie Mack Glenn- Psalms 119 Jesus Way - God’s Town, Heaven 77777.
