Lenora Spencer

Southern Memorial Funeral Home of Eufaula Alabama, sadly announces the passing of Ms. Lenora Spencer 77, of Georgetown Georgia. Me. Spencer heard the calling of her lord and savior Jesus Christ on 12-25-2017. We ask that you please keep the Spencer family in your prayers as they travel through this difficult journey.

Lenora Spencer was born March 31, 1940 to the late

Florence Morris and John A Glaskow in Abbeville,

Henry County, Alabama.

Lenora was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses

July 15, 1974. She served faithfully in the Eufaula

Congregation. She passed away December 25th at

home with her children in Georgetown, GA. Lenora

believed the scripture at Job 14:15, that Jehovah will

call and the dead will answer.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon

Spencer; brother, Frank Shorter; and sister, Dasie

Shorter.

Lenora leaves to cherish her loving memory, six

children, Marine (Larry) White of Eufaula, AL,

Gloria Brown of Georgetown, GA, Lillian (Ricky)

Wilborn of Smiths, AL, Selina (Joel) Washington of

Eufaula, AL, Addie (Leon) Byrd of Georgetown,

GA, and Clarence (Valerie) Walker of Eufaula, AL;

sisters, Millie (Ed) Moore of Quincey, FL, Glenda

(Donald) Britt of Brandywine, MD and Tina

Glaskow of Dothan, AL; brothers, Willie (Helen)

Shorter, George Shorter, Fredrick Shorter all of

Quincey, FL, and Thomas (Brenda) Glaskow of

Dothan, AL; thirteen grandchildren; a host of great

grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
