Mamie Rivers was born July 3, 1925 in Georgetown, Ga to
the parentage of Bob Culver and Anna Rhymes Culver.
At an early age, she confessed her life to Christ and joined
Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Georgetown, Ga. Mamie's
enjoyments were fishing and spending quality time with her
family members, before becoming disabled. She was united
in Holy Matrimony to the late Willie "Bubba" Rivers.
On Saturday July 8, 2017 at Crown Health Care in Eufaula,
Ala the Lord called her home to eternal rest. May her soul
find peace, favor, and acceptance with her maker and indeed
may her good deed live on. She was proceeded in death by
her parents; her only son Ronnie Rivers; three sisters, Jessie
Culver, Lucy Sullivan, and Maggie Baldwin; and five
brothers, Robert Culver, Wylie Culver, Henry Culver, Vester
Culver, and Willie Lane Culver.
Those left to cherish her memories, one sister: Anna
Williams of Georgetown, Ga; two special nieces, Veronica
(Eddie) Ceaser of Georgetown, GA and Elaine Lyles of
Columbus, Ga; and a host of sorrowing nieces, nephews,
cousins, and friends.
There is a very special young lady whom she considered to
be a daughter to her that was actually her nurse Jasmine Long
of Georgetown, Ga. Mamie and Jasmine shared a very close
relationship with each other for many years while she was a
patient of Crown Health Care and their bond was
unbreakable.
