Sherylean Griggs, was a native of Headland, Alabama for

many years; but resided in Dothan, Alabama. She departed this

earthly life on Monday, September 4, 2017. Sherylean was

born on November 27, 1961 to Ralph and Hattie Mae Jones of

Headland, Alabama.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Ralph and

Hattie Mae Jones; brothers, Tommy Jones, J.W. Jones, T.C.

Jones and Willie Nelson Jones; two sisters, Ruth Berry and

Ethel Griggs.

She leaves to mourn her memory; her husband, Willie Carl

Griggs of Headland, Alabama; two brothers, Ralph (Nettie)

Jones Jr, of Headland, Alabama and James Earl Jones of

Dothan, Alabama; two sisters, Alice Thomas and Lenora

Thornton both of Dothan, Alabama; a special friend, Rex

Granberry; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and

friends.

POEM

We little knew that morning, That God was going to call your name.

In life we loved your dearly, In death we do the same.

It broke our hearts to lose you, You did not go alone,

Part of us went with you, the day God called you home.

You left us with Precious Memories, Your love is still our guide

And though we cannot see you, You are always by our side.

Our family chain has broken and nothing seems the same

But if God calls us one by one the chain will link again.

We love you baby Sis, we know Mommy and Daddy are going to

take care of you now. No more pain, no more suffering,

You are in a better place.
