On July 12, 1985 in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, God blessed Gwendolyn
Jackson and Timmy Lowe with a beautiful daughter. She was given
the name, Talyia Tashanda Jackson. Talyia departed this life to
begin her new eternal life on June 14, 2017. Talyia was preceded in
death by her grandfather, Irie Diggs; brother, Timmy Lamar Lowe
Jr; and sister, Darlene Lowe.
Talyia attended Stewart-Quitman High School where she was a
member of the Marching Knights Show Band. She transferred to
Barbour County High School where she completed her education.
Never settling, she decided to further her education and attended
Fortis College in Mobile, AL. She graduated in 2010 with an
Associates in PA and Phlebotomy.
Talyia confessed her life to and love for Christ at an early age. She
was a devoted and faithful member of St. John AME of Eufaula, AL
until her move to Mobile, AL. There she joined Friendship Baptist
Church where she was a devoted and faithful member. She was an
inspiration to all. Her favorite quote, “With God I Have No
Stopping Point”; and that’s how she lived her life.
Because of the love she shared with so many, memories will be
cherished by her loving husband, Frankie Johnson of Mobile, AL;
her three children, Ahmarie Jackson, Rashon Johnson Jr of Eufaula,
AL, Jamyia Johnson of Mobile, AL, and step-daughter, Madison
Johnson of Eufaula, AL; loving parents, Gwendolyn (Mark) Long
and Timmy (Mary) Lowe all of Eufaula, AL; six loving siblings,
Deon (Valencia) Jackson of Huntsville, AL, Larica Jackson of Ft.
Lauderdale, FL, Eddie Jackson, Markyliah and Mariunah Long all
of Eufaula, AL, and Joel Lowe of Albany, GA; three nieces,
Kamaria Cook of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Jalyah and Tremonika Lowe
of Albany, GA; one nephew, Lathan Jackson of Ft. Lauderdale, FL;
grandparents, Bertha Moss of Tampa, FL, and James and Louise
Lowe of Eufaula, AL; mother and father-in-law, Frankie and Shirley
Thompson of Mobile, AL; two sisters-in-law, Shawanda Mays of
Mobile, AL and Katrina Favors of Leary, GA; brother-in-law, Bert
(Tamikia) Thompson of Mobile, AL and a host of Uncles, Aunts,
Cousins and Friends.
