Mr. Terry Jerome Blackmon was born on Sep-tember 22, 1955 in Louisville, AL. He was the son of the late Henry and Luevonia Blackmon. He de-parted this life on Monday, January 13, 2020.
Terry joined the Military in 1977, and was sta-tioned in Ft. Sill, Oklahoma. He served until he re-ceived an honorable discharge in 1983.
Terry loved the Lord, and always talked about Him. He was truly a man of faith, which was evident to all who came into his presence. At the age of 54, he joined the Gift of Life Ministry, and served faith-fully until his departure.
He was preceded in death by three sisters, as well as his mother and father.
Terry leaves to cherish his memories: two daughters, Sandra Blackmon-Johnson (Minister James Johnson); Jeanna Cowart (Demetrius Cow-art); one son, Kenneth Blackmon; four sisters: Betty Daffin, Linda Blackmon (Jerry), Diane Blackmon and Carolyn Faulk; five brothers: James Blackmon (Loretta), Jerry Blackmon (Tanya), Henry Jr. Black-mon (Belinda), Robert Blackmon (Alice), Larry Blackmon (Dorothy) and a host of nephews, nieces and grandchildren who held a special place in his heart.
