Terry Lee (Stick) Jones was called home on August 3, 2019 in Russell County, AL in route to his home in Atlanta, Ga.
Terry Lee Jones was born to the parentage of the late Authur Lee Jones and Ida Mae Jones on August 21, 1967. He confessed his faith in Christ at an early age and joined First Missionary Baptist Church in Georgetown, Ga. He attended the Quitman County School System and later completed his education at Schenck Job Corps Con-servation Center where he also achieved a trade in Brick Masonry.
Terry Lee Jones possessed a larger than life personality, which brought anyone that met and knew him much laughter. A dull moment didn't exist while you were in his presence. Terry had a heart of gold and loved his family deeply. He will be truly missed.
Terry Lee Jones was proceeded in death by his parents, Authur Lee Jones and a mother, Ida Mae Jones Willis; his grandparents (maternal an d paternal), and a sister, Ruby Elizabeth Jones .
Terry Lee Jones leaves to cherish his memories: eight sons, Terry (Shannel) Jones, Demetrius, Ricky (Antwonette), Treyvon Jenkins, Terron and Zion Edmonds all of Atlanta, GA, Marquis Davis and Christian Jones of Georgetown, GA; two daughters, Malayssia Boddie in Hogansville, GA and Tierra Edmonds of Atlanta, GA; two grandchildren, Ellie Jones of Atlanta, Ga and Miracle Davis of Eufaula, AL; three sisters: Alice (Willie) Jones , Judy (Robert Lee) Williams of Georgetown, Ga; and Shir-lene Hill of Phenix City, AL; two brothers, Authur Jones and Jerry (Gloria) Jones of Georgetown, Ga; one aunt, Carolyn Shorter of Ellenville, NY; five nieces, Sharon Wil-liams, Eufaula, AL, Kanisha Williams of Georgetown, GA, Wanda Hill of Phenix City, AL, Monique Hill of Phenix City, AL and Valerie Hill of Columbus, GA; five nephews, Edwin (Tomika) Williams of Fayetteville, NC, Johnny Hill of Eufaula, AL, Quincy Hill of Columbus, GA, Jermaine (Erica) Hill of Ft Belvoir, VA, and Luscious Allen; a host of other nieces nephews, cousins, and friends. A special longtime compan-ion, Rashawn Edmonds.
To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted.
