Mrs. Willie Mae (Turner) Grubbs was born, November 10, 1944 to the
late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Allen and Pauline Turner in Henry County,
Alabama. She was united in Holy Matrimony to Mr. Willie Junior
Grubbs.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert & Pauline Turner;
sister, Meller Nee McNabb; brothers, Amos Joe Turner and Robert Allen
Turner; mother and father-in-law, Maude and Dock Grubbs.
She was a member of Oakey Grove Church until it became Promise Land.
She was a wonderful housewife and took care of everyone in the
neighborhood.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Willie Junior Grubbs;
three children, Frederick (Mary) Grubbs, Cynthia (Chris) Laster, and
Aubrey (Alto) Burks; seven grandsons, Gregory (Kandlyann) Daniels,
Marcus (Melissa) Grubbs, Frederick (Brittany) Grubbs, Jeffery (Jessica)
Grubbs, Johnathon (Fashun) Grubbs, Christopher Laster, and Alton
Burks; two granddaughters, Monay (Danielle) Laster and Aaliyah Burks;
eight great-grandchildren; six sisters, Ada Bain, Alice Kincey, Easter
Young, Odell Jackson, Geraldine Kincey, and Lucy Furman; three
brothers, James Turner, George Turner, and Paul Turner; sister-in-law,
Lillie Fryer; two brothers-in-law, Bobby McNair and Spencer (Regina)
Dozier; and a host of other family members and friends.
