Anina Jean Braswell was born on June 9, 1959 to the late Mr. and Mrs. Louise Braswell. She is also preceded in death by her grandparents.
At an early age, she confessed her life to Christ and joined the First Baptist Missionary Church of Georgetown, Georgia.
On Friday, January 2, 2015, she was called home at UNC Chapel Hill Memorial Hospital, Chapel Hill, N.C. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be greatly missed. She was a member of the Class of 1977 and a honor student at Quitman County High School in Georgetown, Georgia. She later in life moved to Wilson, North Carolina.
Ms. Anina Jean Braswell leaves to cherish her loving memory; two children, Derrick Petway of Wilson, N.C. and Whitney Petway of San Antonio, Texas; two grandchildren, Darne Petway and Dominic Petway of Wilson, N.C.; one brother, Bobby (Eddie Mae) Braswell of Georgetown, GA and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and class members of 1977. A special friend Festus Petway.
