Mrs. Anna Laura "Skeet" Freeman Williams was born on December 6, 1955 to the late Johnny H. Freeman, Sr. and Annie Bell Freemain in Georgetown, Georgia.
She was a devoted worker of Ramada Inn for many years as Director of Environmental Services.
Annie Laura confessed Christ at an early age and was a devoted member of First Missionary Baptit Church of Georgetown, Georgia. Later she moved her membership to Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church in Eufaula, Alabama, under the leadership of Apostle Euguen Florence.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Johnny H. Freeman.
She is survived by her husband, Albert Williams; brothers: Eddie Melton (Patricia) of Atlanta, Georgia, Johnny Jr. and Jackie Freeman of Georgetown, Georgia; sisters: Mary Melton (Vicente') of Eufaula, Alabama, Verna Freeman of Georgetown, Georgia, Sandra (Sam) Thurmand of Columbia, Tennessee; sister-in-law: Joanne Freeman of Dothan, Alabama; she was affectionately referred to as "Nana" by many of those she helped raised: Cordero, Natasha, Decorious, Jermaine, Tariq, Nyzerriah, Messiah and Rylie; special nieces and nephews: Corretta, Brian, Ebony, Delarius, Shawn, Edwin, JJ, Brandon "Hoops", Kenya, Ankylo, Tony, Samantha, Anthony "Tony" Freeman, Adrian Freeman, Andreta Freeman, Valarie Robinson and Rasheed Melton; other relatives and friends.
