Anthony DeWayne Lewis

For we know that if ou earthly house of this tabernacle were to dissolve we have a building of God,

Anthony DeWayne Lewis was born May 30, 1968, in Greenville, Alabama to the late Marvin Blackmon and Dixie Lewis.

He departed this life on May 25, 2013 at Jackson Memorial Hospital, Montgomery, AL.

He accepted Christ at an early age. He was a very hard worker as owner of Lewis and Sons Tree Service, which he was very dedicated.

He leaves to cherish his memories a loving wife, Lavone Ward; four children: Deondria Ward, LaAnthony Ward, Patrice Lewis and Diamond Lewis all of Dothan, Alabama; three grandchildren: Jordan Lewis, Tyler Mills and TravionWalker; mother-in-law: Willie Mae Ward; eight brothers: Jessie Lewis, Jackie Lewis (Shirley), Edward Lewis, Jimmy Lewis,  Laderius Davidson, Anthony Davidson, Herchel Blackmon and Marvin Blackmon, Jr.; eight sisters: Barbara Hawkins (Willie), Betty Spencer (Bobby), Sandra Lewis (deceased), Diane  Smith, Marva Finklea (Robert), Mary Blackmon, Gloria Blackmon and Edith Blackmon; two brothers-in-law, James Walker (Suzanne) and Jeffrey Walker; one sister-in-law; Patricia Rivers-Culver (Gerald); and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and frineds.

Special friends that worked with him: John Kelly (Cake), David String Fellow, James Patrick "Bohawg" and Terry "Treemon".

He wil be deeply missed.
