Services are under the direction of Southern Memorial. The Ones Who Truly Care! When Only The Best Will Do. We ask that you please keep the Lynn family in your prayers. As they travel this difficult journey.
Ms. Barbara Rivers Lynn was born August 12, 1949 to Susie Rivers and the
late Eugene Rivers Sr., in Georgetown, Ga.
Barbara joined Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Ft. Gaines Georgia accepting
Christ at an early age; and received her education in the Quitman County
school system. Barbara Lynn found employment in the kitchen at Lakeview
Community Hospital of Eufaula Alabama and also cooked at the school in
Quitman County. Along with taking care of the elderly she also worked
several years at Ferrell’s Flower shop. In 1992 Barbara moved to Miami
Florida. Several years later she moved to Orlando and joined The
Deliverance Christian Center of Orlando Florida where she selflessly
dedicated herself as a member of the choir. Barbara loved God with her
whole heart and she shared her love in the Church by helping other ministries
wherever she was needed. Barbara enjoyed many things in her life; spending
time with her family, cooking and shopping. She planned numerous events
for her church and many gatherings for her family.
