On Saturday, July 12, 2014, God saw fit to call our love one from labor reward.
Bro. Benjamin Taylor was born November 20, 1944 to his happy parents, the late Rose and Dave Taylor. Bro. Taylor was surrounding by much love from his two brothers.
In the 1960's Bro. Taylor was joined in marriage to his loving wife Fannie, who preceded him in death. To this union three children were born.
His parents, one brother, Dave Taylor and one son, L.C. Taylor all preceded him in death. One special friend also precede him in death, Lizzie Bell Avery.
He attended the Glennville School System in Russell County. Bro. Taylor joined Zion Hill Baptist at an early age.
He worked at B&B Railroads for fifteen years until he retired.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories: seven children: Qunicy Avery of Fort Gaines, GA, Maurice Avery of Cuthbert, GA, Latoya Norris (Bobby) of Phenix City, AL, Deborah Ford of Eufaula, AL, Nikki Marshall of Columbus, GA, Benjamin Taylor Jr. (Minnie) of Sarsota, FL and Regina Taylor of Columbus, GA; four step-children: Bobbie, John an Jamie Avery, Virginia Griggs (Darryl) all of Georgetown, GA; one brother, Willie Taylor of Eufaula, AL; one sister, Beatrice Mahone of Eufaula, AL; thirty-five grandchildren, nine great-gradnchildren; one brother-in-law, Stanley Gosha; two sisters-in-law, Julia McCray and Carrie Taylor; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; two special friends, Joan Smith and Cortez Smith.
