We ask that you please keep the Jordan family in your prayers as they travel through this difficult journey.Mrs. Bobbie Nell Grubbs Jordan was born March 29, 1951 to the late Willie C and Mary Alice Grubbs in Dothan, Alabama. At an early age, she accepted Christ and then united with North Highland Baptist Church. To further her education, she joined Job Corps of America. She became a working citizen of Cooking Good until her retirement in April 1995. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nathaniel Jordan; parents, Willie C and Mary Alice Grubbs; daughter, Yolanda Michelle Thomas; great grandson, Jaycion Leake; sister, Alice Faye McDonald; brother, Joe Nathan Grubbs Jr; son-in-law, Greg Walker. Mrs. Bobbie transitioned from her earthly home to her eternal home on January 4, 2023 at the Southeast Health Medical Center in Dothan, Alabama. She leaves to cherish her loving memories with her two daughters, Tracy Walker and Libra (Gregory) Bradley; seven grandchildren, Chassidy Brooks, Destiny Mackey, Aldasia Thornton, Amber Walker, Zaveyon Thomas, Reber Land and Tyani Hope; five great grandchildren, Brayden Brooks, Dassiah Shaek, Kaycion Brooks, Munini Crowley and Armuni Crowley; sisters, Christine Hammock, and Linda (Gary) Wheeler; brothers, Tommy Ray Grubbs and Anthony (Tiny) Grubbs; brother-in-law, Derry (Annie Jewel) White; sister-inlaw, Janie (C.H) Kinsey; son-in-law, Eugene Thomas; two godchildren, Melissa Snell and Tywan Snell, and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces nephews and other loving relatives. Two special friends, who she loved as sisters, Willie Mae Pouncey and Joyce Ann McCray.
