Bonnie Lee Oxner

With profound sadness and deepest sorrow, Southern Memorial Funeral Home of Dothan and Eufaula Alabama announce the passing of Ms. Bonnie L Oxner, of Dothan Alabama, formerly of New Jersey.

Bonnie Lee Oxner was born April 27, 1931. She was one of the fourteen children of the late Mr. Lane and Mrs. Eddie Wise who resided in Prosperity, South Carolina. She moved to Newark, New Jersey and then mar-ried the late Jerald Oxner, in that unity one child was born, Phillis Oxner. She had two children, Torey Rosa and Brandy Parks.

She worked for several years and later retired from Miller Manufactory in Newark, New Jersey. She was a member of Emanuel Baptist Church where she singed in the choir for many years. Later she moved to Dothan, Alabama with her granddaughter, Torey Rosa. Bonnie joined Greater Deliver-ance Outreach Ministry. She lived her life to the fullest and later became ill.

She leaves behind her daughter, Phillis Parks of Newark, New Jersey; two grandchildren, Torey Rosa of Dothan, Alabama and Brandy Parks of Elizabeth, New Jersey; she has four great grandchildren and one great grandchild; two brothers, Lane Wise and Zebee Wise of Elizabeth, New Jersey and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
