Eufaula, Barbour County, Alabama
Brandon accepted the Lord into his life and joined the First
Missionary Baptist Church, Georgetown, GA at an early age.
Brandon received his education from the Quitman and Stewart
County School Systems.
He enjoyed hanging out with family and friends. His maternal
grandfather, Flozell Thornton and his paternal grandmother, Millie
McFolley preceded him in death.
Brandon was called to eternal rest on Monday, February 20,
2017 at Flower’s Hospital in Dothan Alabama. All who knew him
will miss him. He leaves to cherish his memory, his parents,
Emma and Eddie McFolley Sr ; children, Joy Hall, Tia and
Tamera Bullard; brother, Eddie (April) McFolley Jr; grandmother,
Thelma Thornton; aunts, Louise (William) Wilson Sr, Patricia
Thornton, Eddie Mae (Bobby) Braswell, Annette (Sampson)
Hodge, Yvonne (Jerome) Thornton, Dorothy Billings, Martha
Wallace, Shirley Brown, and Lavonia Thomas,; uncles, Curtis
McFolley, Charlie McFolley, Frank L (Diane) McFolley and Rev.
Sherman L Williams; nephew, Edegrinn McFolley; great uncles,
R. S. (Emma) Norris and Willie Norris; special cousins, Destiny
Guildford and Shirlene Upshaw; adopted sister, Brandize Billings,
and a host of other sorrowing family members and friends.
When the perishable puts on the imperishable, and the mortal puts on
immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written: “Death is
swallowed up in victory.” “O death, where is your victory? O death, where
is your sting?” The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But
thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
