Brenda Ann Holmes was born April 16, 1971 in Eufaula, Alabama to Nora Mae Holmes and the late Ernest Holmes. She entered into rest on Tuesday, November 5,2020 at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, Alabama.

Brenda attended school in the Eufaula Public School System and Wallace Community College. At an early age, she joined Tabernacle Baptist Church in Eufaula, AL, then as a young adult she moved her membership to Church of Christ in Georgetown, Ga.

In addition to her father, Ernest C. Holmes, a aunt, Mozell Gilbert and uncle, Jimmy Smith preceded her in death.

Brenda leaves to cherish her memories: her mother, Nora M. Holmes; two daughters, Amaiyia Holmes and Amelia Holmes; one brother, Calvintia Smith; two sisters, Tanya (Edward) Hodge all of Eufaula, Al and Della R. Holmes of Richmond, VA; four nieces, Consuela Allen, Tashana Hodge of Eufaula, AL, Am-ber Homes of Dothan, AL and Canesha Smith of Troy, AL; six aunts, Mary Hicks, Hilda (JL) Hawkins, Shirley (Coefield) Forte, Mary (Charles) Persons, Emma Nell (Ellis) Johnson all of Eufaula, AL and Annie Freeman of Belle Glade, FL; four uncles, Nathaniel Smith of Columbus, GA, Bobby (Lillie) Gilbert of Eufaula, AL, Charles Holmes and Willie Holmes both of Dothan, AL and a host of great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends; best friend, Bernadette Lewis and a very special close friend and family member, Gloria Thomas; Brenda Kids father, Anthony Parker and one special beloved friend, Charles Shade, Jr. and one special friend, James Moore both of Eufaula, AL.
