Mrs. Catherine Lohman Baxter was born December 10, 1946 in

Clayton, AL to the late Mrs. Willie Lee Tucker. She departed this life

on July 31, 2023 at her home. She was preceded in death by a special

friend, Franklin Goodson and her son, Bruce Baxter; two brothers,

James Lohman and Edgar Lohman.

She accepted Christ at an early age. She loved to fish. She was well

known throughout her community and was loved dearly.

She leaves to cherish her memories two children, Christopher (Benita)

Pruitt, Eufaula, AL, Omekia (AL) Pruitt, Dothan, AL;

daughter-in-law, Annie Baxter, Clayton, AL; seven grandchildren,

Ciara Rumph, Clayton, AL, Dandrea Rumph, Ozark, AL, Bruce

Baxter, Clayton, AL, Marquita Walker, Clayton, AL, Cordarrian

Pruitt, Eufaula, AL, Shanika Pruitt, Eufaula, AL, Christopher Pruitt,

Eufaula, AL; eleven great grandchildren; goddaughter, Tabatha Mayo;

special friends, Myrtis McNabb, Clayton, AL, Jessica Knight, Elmore,

AL, Avenia Conely, Clayton, AL, Cherry Ann Devose, Clayton, AL

and Terrelle Mulkey, Clayton, AL; and a host of nephews, nieces, other

relatives and friends.

I’ve lived my life-I’ve tried my best

The memories I hold dear are experiences

I have know of happiness and tears.

The love of my family

The cares of my friend

The good times I’ve shared right to the end

I’ve travelled life’s by ways

Seen children grow up

Experienced life’s living and drunk from love’s cup

I leave you with memories with thoughts of you all.

I’m no longer with you but your mind will recall

The good times we shared

The laughter we had
