Catherine Eagle was born July 26, 1953 in Eufaula, AL to the late James Author and Hattie Lynn. Catherine accepted Christ at an early age. She united in holy matrimony to the late Lesley Eagle. She departed this life on Sunday, August 27, 2023 at UAB Hospital, Birmingham, AL. She left many memories with four children: Elder Jimmy (Shelia) Lynn, Bobby (Shun) Hartzog, Yancey (Linda) Hartzog and Peggy Lynn; 18 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 9 sisters, Lola Pearl Lynn (deceased), Annie Mural Seay, Betty Sue Jordan (deceased), Eyronna Lynn (Robert Jones) (deceased), Ruby Nall Lynn, Mary Jane Lynn (deceased), Annie Rine (Johnathan) Knight and Mary Ann El (deceased); one brother, James Earl Lynn (deceased). Even in her sickness she would spare no expenses to help others. We celebrate the life of a great and wonderful mother and friend. Although she blew out her last candles, her life will forever be in our hearts.

 For just a moment imagine a world with the harmony that put pain to rest, imagine a world where love will not being put to any test. A place where you rise in the morning to sing songs of joy and at night you dance before bread is broken and rest. Close your eyes and see the blue sky, feel the sun warm your face with a cool breeze. A world where there is laughter and compassion, and then rest. Praise freely… worship unforgivingly… love unconditionally and then rest. Imagine green fields, snowcapped mountains with streams flowing with pure water and tree of fresh fruit. Working to together with others in love and then rest. No worries, no regrets no disputes, no conflict, no more burdens…just rest. Oh, how tired we all are, the world is unforgiving, but God is. He offers rest. Oh, what a blessing to be able to rest. Imagine eternal peace and paradise. Ours hearts are full, because when I can see you right now…filled with light and life, more than ever before. The glow that is you… we will see again. Until then we know what is best, what a blessing to be able to rest. Rest Momma, rest in peace. Rest..
