Christopher Noland Rogers was a resident of Auburn, Alabama who passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2016. He was converted at an early age at Zion Fair Missionary Baptist Church in Port St. Joe Florida. After marriage to "Pearl", he later joined Greater Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church.
He graduated from Port St. Joe Senior High School in 1979. After graduating he went into the U.S. Army and stayed for 8 years with an Honorable Discharge.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Raymond A. Rogers, Sr. and Mattie Rogers; a sister, Phyllis Rogers; a daughter, Vickie Creech Lee Coleman and a mother-in-law, Fannie White.
He leaves to cherish his memories: a loving, caring and devoted wife, Osie Pearl Rogers. They were married for 17 years; daughter, Krystal (Randrez) Rogers; son, Desmond (Candedra) Rogers both of Dothan, AL; seven grandchildren: Jumahius, Zydarius, Atiya, Camari, Journei, Yolonda and Demetris; four great grandchildren: Javi’Onia, An’Zyia, Mo’Zyiah and Bryceon; two sisters: Deborah Rogers Fagg (Willie), Tallahassee, FL and Christine Rogers, Port St. Joe, FL; two brothers: Raymond A. Rogers, Jr. (Amy) and Joel Rogers, Port St. Joe Fl; four aunts: Jessie B. White and Sara Watson Panama City, FL, Ernestine Harley of Enterprise, AL and Blonnie Watson of Fayetteville, NC; four uncles: Leslie F. Rogers, Sr. (Irene),Fernandina Beach, FL, William Rogers, Sr. (Mary) Enterprise, AL; Dawud Ziyad (JoAnn) Glenndale, MD and Thomas Livingston, Dale, TX; three brothers-in-law: Otis White, Norman White (Debra), Headland, AL and Johnny White (Pat), Dothan, AL; two sisters-in-law, Bernice Jefferson, Jersey City, NJ and Lisa Carroll (Johnny) Dothan, AL; a special nephew, Pastor Paxton F. Rogers, Sr. (Warnell) of Tallahassee, FL and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
