Dallas Ree Barnett

Mrs. Dallas Ree Barnett was born November 5, 1933 in Georgetown, Georgia to the late Dallas Hodge and Millie J. Jackson-Hodge.

She was preceded in death by her late husband, Edward Barnett and a granddaughter, Felicia Respress; grandson, Lewis C. "Pooh Pie" Northcutt IV.

At an early age she accepted Christ in her life and joined the Saint James AME Church of Georgetown, Georgia and later joined the Saint John AME Church of Eufaula, Alabama.

She was a very devoted mother. A very outgoing person who loved people dearly and most of all loved the Lord. She worked at Alabama Verneer Mill for many years until her health began to fail.

Mrs. Barnett was called to rest from her labor on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at the Henry County Nursing Home in Abbebille, Alabama.

Mrs. Barnett leavest to cherish in her loving memory five loving daughters and four sons: Rosemary (Mose) Mallard of Eufaula, Alabama, Ruby (Tony) Cook of Orlando, Florida, Angela Barnett of Eufaula, Alabama, Sandra Dumas of Columbus, Georgia, Charlene (Lewis) Northcutt of Eufaula, Alabama, Samspson (Annette) Hodge of Georgetown, Georgia, Ricky Hodge of Eufaula, Alabama, William (Kenya) Barnett of Georgetown, Georgia and Edward (Tonya) Hodge of Eufaula, Alabama; she leaves thirty-three grandchildren and twenty-five great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
