Deacon Eddie Mack McFolley, Sr., the son of the late Milton Harris and Millie McFolley, was born August 28, 1958 in Omaha, Georgia.
Dea. Eddie Mack McFolley, Sr. confessed Christ as his Savior and became a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church. There he served faithful as Chairman of the Deacon Board, Assistant Secretary, member of the Usher Board, Delegate for all the union meetings and Sunday School Conferences and drove the Church Van. He never missed Sunday School and loved leading devotion. Not only could he raise a Hymn, he could pray and almost preach. He loved talking about the Lord.

He enjoyed singing, serving the Lord and meeting people. Everybody that knew him, loved him. He was funny and always smiling. He loved to keep junk going that made people laugh. His greatest joy was when he was united in Holy Matrimony to Emma. To this union, two chil-dren were born. Through the years he was employed with Eufaula Pulpwood, Southern Timbers, Easy Pay Tire Store and Herndon Tires.

As I Sit In Heaven As I sit in heaven and watch and see I know with every breath you take You take one for me Do you feel me, I’ve been
here from the start. I’m sitting on your shoulder I’m beating right along with your heart Yes of course you’re gettin’ a little bit older But you got my love inside you so we’re
never apart As I sit in heaven and watch you everyday I try to let you know with signs I never went away I hear you when you’re laughing And watch you as you sleep I even place my arms around you To calm you as you weep I see you wish the days away Begging to have me home So I try to send you signs So you know you are not alone Don’t feel guilty that you have Life that was denied to me Heaven is truly beautiful just you wait and see. So live your life, laugh again Enjoy yourself, be free Then I know with every breath you take You’ll be taking one for me
