Elizabeth was born September 7, 1941 in Barbour County, Alabama to the late Johnnie and Carrie Whigham.
She departed this life on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 in her home in Orange, New Jersey.
She confessed Christ at an early age and united with the New Mt. Zion Baptist Church where she served until she moved from Alabama 45 years ago.
Her parents and four siblings preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish her memories three daughters, Sheila Russell, Carolyn Daniels of Clayton, Alabama and Sara Whigham of East Orange, NJ; three brothers: Don Whigham (Patricia) of Bakerhill, Al, Oscar Whigham, Clayton, AL and Wesley (Maxine) Whigham,Eufaula, AL; six grandchildren; one faithful grandson, Brandon Whigham of Orange, NJ; one great grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
