Esther Mae Easley Greenfield ascended this life on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan, Alabama.
Esther descended from Heaven to her earthly presence on April 25, 1948 to her parents the late Jennie Mae Underwood Easley and Leon Easley. She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Lisa Griggs; sister, Annie Taylor; brothers: Jacob Easley, Joseph Easley and James Easley.
Esther accepted Christ at a very early age and united with New Bethel Baptist Church and later moved to Alabama Avenue Missionary Baptist Church, Dothan, Alabama. She attended Dothan City Schools.

Esther’s legacy and memory will be cherished by her loving devoted daughter, Theresa Strachan, Birmingham, AL; son-in-law, Darren Griggs, Louisville, KY; five grandchildren, Kordero (Monique) Brackin, Dothan, AL, VieTiaya Barr and Wayn Darias Barr both of Birmingham, AL, Darren Griggs and Darian Griggs both of Louisville, KY; six great grandchildren, Jameisha Drayton, Korlito Brackin, KorJah Brackin, KorVega Brackin and KorLeon Brackin all of Dothan, AL, Heaven Whitlow, Birmingham, AL; five sisters: Gearrene Brisbon, Mamie Easley and Nita Brooks all of Dothan, AL, Mary L. (Clarence,Sr.) Nelson, Columbus, GA, Martha (Vince) Boyd, San Antonio, TX; two loving Goddaughters, Bonita Mike and Daphne Alford both of Dothan, AL; fifteen nephews; six nieces; ten great nieces; nine great nephews; best friend past death, Gail Daniels and her eternal soul mate as well as a host of friends and family members.
