She was born on January 25, 1982 in Eufaula, AL. she leaves to cherish her memories to a devoted husband, Cornelius Allen and loving mother, Gloria Screws; 2 sisters; Stephanie Screws of Pittsview, AL and Casandra Screws of Phenix City, AL and one brother Patrick (Giovanna) Screws of Eufaula, AL. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends. And a loving mother in law, Sallie Henry and fa-ther in law Earl (Michelle) Henry, two sisters in law, Dakita (Craig) Brown of Phenix City, AL and Lasheba Allen of Co-lumbus, GA. Evelyn was a graduate of Russell Co. High School, class of 2000, and served as a drum major. She contin-ued her education at the University Of West Alabama in Liv-ingston, AL where she received her Bachelors degree in psy-chology, she also was a member of the Alpha Phi Omega ser-vice fraternity. She obtained a black belt in Taekwondo under the leadership of Master Chester. She participated in various mission trips. She was a faithful member at The River and County Line Church in Eufaula, AL. She retired from Carnegie Library in Eufaula, AL where she served as a Genealogist Spe-cialist. She was affectionately known as "Joy" and "Our Baby.
