Gloria Jean Paige

Southern Memorial Funeral Home of Eufaula & Dothan, Alabama, sadly announces the passing of Mrs. Gloria J. Paige of Eufaula, Alabama from her earthly labor to her heavenly reward.

Gloria Jean Paige was born on April 11, 1948 in Gainesville, Florida to the late Beatrice Butler and Levi Sterling, Sr. On   November, 26, 2015, Mrs. Paige was granted her angel wings at Crowne Health Care of Eufaula. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Carolyn Butler & Rose Duckett.

She leaves to cherish her memories a loving and dedicated husband, Sylvester Paige. She raised 9 children, four sons, Britt L. (Shanda) Paige of Eufaula, AL, Billy D. Paige of Eufaula, AL, Jerome W. (Bethany) Francis of Eufaula, AL and Sylvester L. Paige of Panama City, FL; five daughters, Gloria J. (Greg) Turner of Eufaula, AL, Monique M. (Nicholas) Randolph of Eufaula, AL, Tammy Francis of Atlanta, GA, Sylvia Francis of Jacksonville, FL and Olympia L. Paige of Eufaula, AL; five brothers, Cecil Cobb of Greenville, FL, Ulysses (Dominique) Mann of Jacksonville, FL, Felton Mann of Greenville, FL, Levi (Kathy) Starling, Jr. of Lamont, FL and Herman (Lena) Mann of Jacksonville, FL; four sisters, Dollie M. Gordon of Jacksonville, FL, Gloria J. (Alonzo) Frazier of Lamont, FL, Beatrice Brown of Jacksonville, FL and Etha M. Starling of Monticello, FL; one uncle, Herman Cobb of Greenville, FL and one aunt, Arleatha Starling of Lamont, FL; thirty-one grandchildren and six great grandchildren. A host of sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.
