We ask that you please keep the Williams family in your prayers as they travel through this difficult journey James "Happy" Williams was born on December 12, 1947 to the late Eugene and Willie Mae Williams. He was the sixth of seven siblings. He was preceded in death by his oldest sister Evelyn Moore (Muskegon, Ml); Eugene Williams, Jr., Walter Williams, and Mack Edward Williams all of Eufaula, Al. Happy attended Van Buren Elementary School and graduated from Dr. T.V McCoo High School in 1965. He grew up on Petry Street and enjoyed playing baseball and basketball, which he also played at the high school level. He worked as a roofing professional which took him to port St. Joe, Florida. He lived in Port St. Joe until he retired and moved back to his hometown of Eufaula, Al. Even after retirement, Happy would still complete carpentry work for people up until his death.

Happy is survived by three sons, Tony (Sheckeela) Johnson, Sr., Andre Williams, and Deon Corbitt, all of Eufaula, Al; seven grandchildren, Tony Johnson, Jr., Breon Richardson, Trevon Patterson, Mashira Williams, Jalon Rivers, Malex Comer, and. Breannica Corbitt; two siblings, Eddie Williams and Gloria Ann Witcher, both of Eufaula, Al; and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
