We ask that you please keep the Williams family in your prayers as they travel through this difficult journey.Joan Olivia Knight-Williams was born on December 28, 1959 in Clio, Alabama, Ms. Joan Olivia Knight-Williams made her transition from Flowers Hospital on December 28, 2018 in Dothan, Alabama. She was the daughter of the late Oneida Knight. Joan Knight-Williams was raised in a loving home of Mr. and Mrs. C.W. (Rosie) Glenn.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Oneida Knight; C.W. (Rosie) Glenn; her son, PFC Kenneth Knight and her sister, Anita Knight.
She grew up in the public school system of Clio, Alabama, She joined Jerusalem Baptist Church at an early age, later in life she joined Star Baptist Missionary Church of Eufaula, Alabama. She was later united in holy matrimony to Mr. Calvin Williams.
Joan leaves to cherish her loving memory: two daughters, Glenda Knight and Ebony Williams both of Eufaula, AL; three sons, Brandon Knight of Cullman, AL, Cornelius (Sharon) Williams of Tuscaloosa, AL and DeNorris Williams of Auburn, AL; sixteen grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two sisters, Sheryl Knight of Tuskegee, AL and Tammy (Willie) Parks of Covington, GA; two brothers, Michael Knight of Clio, AL and James Otis Burks of Eufaula, AL, and a host nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
