Joe Pew Jr. was born on March 10th, 1942 to the late Joe Sr. and Susie Mae Pew in Abbeville Al. Joe left home at the age of 17 to pursue his dreams of becoming an entertainer. He moved to Miami, Fl and began performing in bars and night clubs as "Joe Star". Later he moved to Birmingham, AL to work in the barbering and hair styling industry. It was there that he would meet the only woman he would ever marry Fannie Warren. Together they had 2 children: Gregory and Rhonda Pew. Joe's greatest passion was music and performing. He departed this life on April 26th, 2020.
Joe is proceeded in death by his older siblings Orange Lee Pew and Rosie Bea Crews (Pew) also his nephew Adrian Grubbs.
He leaves to cherish his memory children Greg-ory Pew and Rhonda Worsham (Deotis). Sisters: Mar-ige Bell (Charles), Annie Kate Pew, Mattie Mae Wheeler (Bobby), Gladys Avery (Joe). Grandson Caas Austin Green and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
