The youthful JOHN BENNETT HAMERTER, Jr., the only son of Mr. John B. Hamerter, Sr. and Mrs. Martha Fay Lawrence Hamerter was born Aprill 11, 1962 in Barbour County, Alabama.
He was converted, baptized and admitted into the fellowship of the Union Grove Baptist Church. He attended the Bakerhill High School near his home. John Bennett was a very devoted child and his passing is keenly felt by his loved ones and acquaintances.
He succumbed this life July 21, 1976.
He leaves to cherish his memory a beloved father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. John B. Hamerter, Sr. of Bakerhill, Alabama; three sisters, Missess Debra Ann Hamerter, Jeanie R. and Janice A. Sheppard of Bakerville, Alabama; two grandmothers, Mrs. Adell Lawrence, Eufaula, Alabama, Mrs. Manervia Hamerter, Dayton, Ohio; one grandfather, Mr. Roosevelt Lawrence, Eufaula, Alabama; several aunts, other relatives and friends.
There must be an answer why it is
That one who enjoyed life so,
Why someone who is so dear to us
Suddenly has to go. ----
