Order of Service My dearest John you fought so hard to stay here and I prayed even harder for God to give us more time together, but it wasn’t in his will. I am truly thankful for the 34 years he gave us together. You don’t have to worry about me. I am blessed with 2 sons, a daughter in law and grandchildren who will take good care of me. Rest inPeace my dear! I will always Love You!!

John Edward Mallard was born on April 15, 1942 to Hattie Harris Mallard and Abraham Mallard Sr. and to this union 10 children were born.
John, age 78, peacefully transitioned into eternal rest on Sunday morning October 11, 2020 at Crowne Health Care in Eufaula, AL. He was preceded in death by his daughter Jacqueline, his parents, and several siblings: May, Minnie, Dorothy, Annie Pearl, Bernice, and Rev. Abraham Mallard Jr.
He leaves to mourn his loving memory a devoted wife of 34 years: Earlene Smith Mallard; one son Greg Anderson and five stepchildren: Jeffrey Smith and Tyrone (Regenia) Smith, Deborah Anderson, Bernice Anderson and Phillip Anderson; He was blessed with 3 loving grands: La-Tasha, Ta-Tyana and Herman Jr.; 5 devoted grandchildren, and 6 great grands. A special thanks to Janice and Markita "Coco" McFolley; One sister and two brothers: Mattie Calhoun, Booker T. Mallard, and Joe Lee Mallard (all of Cleveland Ohio), and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
John was a quiet loving man who touched many lives. He had 5 devoted friends who was more like a brother: Walter Folley Jr., Earl Russell, Calvin Thomas Sr. (Pee-Wee), Robert River, and Grover Young.
