It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Kandi Cenitra Hawkins, on Monday, June 22nd, 2020 at Elba Rehabilitation Center Nursing Home at the age of 35. Kandi was born on March 17, 1984 in Dothan, AL to Bren-da Hawkins and Ricky Jones. Kandi graduated form Huffman High School and attended Miles College pursing a degree in nursing. There are so many words that we can express who Kandi was, when we think about Kandi lets remember her for whom she really was. She was a vibrant young lady, daughter, and sister with a caring and loving spirit, who loved her family and friends so much. Kandi is proceeded in death by her grand-mother; Mary Eva Hawkins, Grandfather, Alto Hawkins, and brother Rashaud Roddrico Hawkins.
She is survived by; Mother, Brenda Hawkins, father Ricky Jones, grandmother Mary Bell Jones, sisters; Angelica Hawkins, Tiffany Carroll, Sherell (Steve) Simmons, Robert (Tina) Carroll and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
