Larry passed away on Monday, September 19, 2022 at
Flowers Hospital. He returnd to Dothan 8 years ago. He was born March 7, 1955, in Dothan, Alabama. Larry was the son of the late John and Wilma Jessie.
He was raised in Newark, New Jersey, where he
graduated from Central High School in 1973. Larry was a very talented and could fix or build anything. He worked as a building maintenance man at Jay St. Nursing Home in Newark, NJ for 18 years. He was an identical twin and he and his brother played tricks on his friends everyday. They could not tell them apart. He loved his family and friends.
Larry was preceded in death by four brothers, Sylvester
Jessie, Jerry Jessie (his twin), Azeezuddin Muhammad,
Benjamin Jessie and one grandson, Terrance Moore.
He is survived by one daughter, Tamara (Cory) Poe and one son, Sean Fleming, both of Trenton, NJ, two sisters, Mary (Gregory) Johnson, Dothan, AL and Lillian (Randolf) Ferdinand, Brooklyn, NY; one broth-er, Jimmie (Elaine) Jessie, Orange, NJ; 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and a host of nephews, niec-es and friends.
