​A Time to Be Born-​ Mr. Leonard Mack Grubbs was born August 25, 1946. in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Mary Lee Grubbs and Raymond Grubbs.

A Time To Learn-​ He was educated at Eufaula High School

​A Time To Plant-​ ​At an earlya ge he became a member of St. Mark Baptist Church in Clayton, AL, where he was a deacon.

​A Time To Love-​ He was married to Betty Parks. To this union three children were born.

​A Time To Laugh-​The joys and pleasures of his life was with her family.

A Time To Die-​ The final call of God to come home was received by him on Saturday, May 17, 1997 at his home in Bakerhill, Alabama.

​A Time Of Peace-​ He leaves to cherish his devoted wife Betty Grubbs; one daughter: Mary Dell Grubbs; two sons: Leonard Jr. Grubbs and Derrick Leon Grubbs; his father: Raymond Grubbs; the late mother, Mary Lee Grubbs; four brothers: Robert Grubbs (Della Mae), Clayton, AL, James Frank Grubbs, Bakerhill, AL, Willie Grubbs (Martha) Fort Myers, FL and Aaron (Felicia) Grubbs, Bakerhill, AL; four sisters: Patricia (Donald) Whigham, Johnny Mary Grubbs (Carl Blackmon), Bakerhill, AL, Christine Whigham, Clayton, AL and Maxine (Wesley) Whigham, Clayton, AL; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
