Lottie C. Mills was born July 4, 1935 in Fort Gaines, Georgia to the late Mark and Mary Lou Spann.
Lottie grew up in Abbeville, Alabama all her life and
married Willie James Mills Sr and to this union five
children were born.
Lottie worked at West Point Pepperell for 17 1/2 years.
She was a faithful church and choir member your years until her heath declined. Some of the songs she was most known to lead and sing were "Jesus Cares", "It’s Me Again", "One More Time" and "Put a Little Oil in your Vessel".
She departed this life on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at her home. She was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers, two sisters and a baby daughter named
Isabella.
Lottie C. Mills is survived by her children, Abigail Spann, Christopher Mills, Delilah M. Goosby, Willie J. (Elaine) Mills, Jr, all of Abbeville, AL, Patricia (Norman) Anderson of Eufaula, AL; a niece, Janet (Jamie) Kincey of Abbeville, AL; nine grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
