A Time to Be Born:

Louella Darby, affectionately known as "Bay", entered this life on July 25, 1934 to the late Mr. Rufus and Mary Underwood.

A Time to Show Faith:

Louella confessed in Christ, and became a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, where she remained a member until her life expired.

A Time to Love:

Louella became a proud mother of two daughters, both deceased, Carolyn and Loretta Darby; and four sons: two deceased, Herbert, Jr. and Larry Darby and two surviving sons: Ricky Darby, Sr. and Stevie Darby. Also through the years Louella became a proud grandmother of seventeen grandchildren.

A Time to Die:

Louella departed this life on August 14, 2013 after a brief illness. She was preceded in death also by her husband, Herbert Darby, Sr.

A Time to Mourn:

Louella leaves to mourn and cherish her memories: her sister, Annie Shorter and a brother, Authur Underwood; special devoted friend, James Jerndon; a host of loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and caring neighbors; a devoted grandson, Ricky Darby, Jr. and two dedicated cousins: Mattie Alexander and Marie Russaw.
