Mrs. Mary E. Harris Hollins was born December 19, 1931, to the
parentage of the late Clara Smith Harris and George Harris Sr.
At an early age, she confessed her life to Christ and became a
member of the Thankful Baptist Church, Eufaula, AL. She
received her education from Van Buren High School. Mary was a
member of the Order of Serenity 715 O.E.S.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Robert Harris, George
Harris Jr., Willie Harris, and Andrew Harris Sr.
Mary was joined in Holy Matrimony to the late William Hollins
Sr. To this union three children were born, William Hollins Jr.,
Cinder (Hilton) Parks and Ronald Hollins, who preceded her in
death.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories along with her children,
one devoted sister, Mary Francis Coleman of Chicago, IL; two
devoted sisters-in-law, Mrs. Ella Penn and Mrs. Rosa Hollins; four
loving granddaughters, Cassandra M (Ashoke) Miles, Hilary C.
Parks, Karen Lindsey and Kindra Warren; one grandson, Kedrick
L. Shepherd, who preceded her in death; and a host of nieces,
nephews, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren cousins
and friends.

No one can ever replace the bond we had. The days you would take me
and pick me up from school. The days you would keep me while my
mama worked or the days you would take me to work with you. The
days we used to watch the stories together or the days we used to bake
cakes and make homemade ice cream. Those days I can never get back.
I never wanted to see this day come, but God saw differently. I will miss
you dearly Gran and your memory will live in my heart forever.
