Mary Lee (Granger) Johnson

Mary L. Johnson was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at S.E.A.M.C. surrounded by her family.

Sister Johnson was born January 4, 1945 in Houston Count. She lived most of her life in Columbia, AL.

She was united with First Missionary Baptist Church of Columbia at a eary age. There she was active in the following organization: Adult Chair, Youth Department,Sunday School Teacher and Deaconess.

She was preceded in death by her husband Tommy Johnson, Sr. and parents, Mr. & Mrs. Willie Sam Granger, Sr.

She leaves to cherish her memoy, two loving daughters, Brenda (Grady) Buze and Delisha Johnson of Columbia, AL; stepdaughters, Katie Johnson, Patsy Ann Johnson, Step-sons, Tommy Johnson, Jr., Michael McLoyd and Paul Johnson; a devoted brother and sister-in-law, Willie and Helen Granger of Columbia, AL; four loving grandchildren, Katavion, Kaylon, Kendrick and Kendarius Johnson of Columbia, AL; two aunts, Addie Lewis of Columbia and Simon Rhymes of the Bronx, New York; sisters-in-law, Lois Thomas, Dothan, AL, ,Gladys Johnson of Columbia and Anna Lee Johnson of Blakely, GA; a caring and devoted niece, A.J. (David) Reynolds of Dothan, AL and eight grandchildren a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
