We are sad to announce the passing of Mother Morbie Ree Taylor McCray of Bakerhill, AL. Mother McCray died at 92 years old on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at Crowne Heath Nursing Home in Eufaula, AL. She was a beautiful person who spread joy and happiness wherever she went. She is the daughter of the late Nancy and Elijah Taylor. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald McCray; three sisters, Amber Taylor, Letha Taylor and Jenny Taylor; six brothers, Richard Taylor, Henry Taylor, Ernest Taylor, Eddie Taylor and Jack Taylor; four daughters, Martha Rose Hines, Catherine Grubbs, Margie Ann McCray and Christina McClendon ana one son, Donald McCray, Jr. She leaves to cherish her memories: her loving daughters, Brenda (James) McRiney, Darlene (Jerome) Williams both of Dothan, AL; her special daughter, Sabrina (Charles) Nelson of Bakerhill, AL; brother, Tom Taylor of Tampa, FL; 21 Grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Do not stand at my grave and weep I am not there. I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow. I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain. I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the morning's hush I am the swift uplifting rush Of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry; I am not there. I did not die.

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever. Amen.
