O.C. Rhodes

O.C. Rhodes was the second child born to the late Mr. Sebron and Mrs. Nora Rhodes in Henry County, Alabama on February 15, 1935.

He joined the St. Peter A.M.E. Church at a young age.

Preceding him in death are his father and mother: Sebron and Nora Rhodes; his son, Rondi (Buddy) McNealy; brothers: William D. Rhodes and James Earl Rhodes; sister: Jessie Lee Rhodes Careter; one sister-in-law: Terri White-Rhodes; two brothers-in-law: Major Flemmings Jr. and Charles Carter; grandparets: Cleveland and Jessie Pearce; special uncle and aunt: Otis and Mary Floyd.

He was employed by Dothan Oil Mill/Golden Peanut Company in Headland for more than 35 years. It was a job that suited him perfectly and he loved his job and continued to be a great employee until his health no longer would allow him to perform.

O.C. Rhodes leaves to cherish two devoted and loving children: daughter, Donna McNealy, Dothan, AL and son, Dexter McNealy, Enterprise, AL; he als has ten grandchildren; Tavonni McNealy, Ali Rasheed McNealy, Khadijah McNealy, Deneshia McNealy, Elsia McNealy, Patrice McNealy, Charese Flemings, Yasmine McNealy, Yolanda Creech and Brandi Welte; and ten great grandchildren; his sisters and brothers: Cleona Rhodes-Flemmings, Newville, AL, James Robert Rhodes, Headland, AL, Grover C. Rhodes (Mavis), Mesa, AZ, Rose Etta McLemore (Paul), Trenton, NJ, Ernest C. Rhodes (Jennifer), Dothan, AL, Rex J. Rhodes (Wanda) Campbelton, FL and Jimmy Ray Rhodes (Cleotha), Rex, GA and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
