Rejina Crews

Southern Memorial Funeral Home of Eufaula and Dothan Alabama. Sadly announces the passing of Ms. Rejina Crews 82, of Clayton Alabama.

Mrs. Rejina Crews was born on August 31, 1933 in Clayton, AL to Bernice West and John Chatter. She made her transition from her earthly home to eternal life on February 29, 2016 at her home after a battle with cancer.

She accepted Christ at an early age at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Clayton, AL.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Crews; one son, Otis Crews, Jr.; daughter, Ruthy Mae Crews; three brothers, John Chatter, Jr., Cecil West and ID West; three sisters Robbie Mae Cole, Ruby Florence and Rosie Lias; one grandson, Dexter Peterson and Godson, George Massey.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory: three daughters: Peggy (Ernest) Brown, Ceffie (Curlie) Glenn and Bernice Womack all of Clayton, AL; five grandchildren: Otis Womack, Tony (Natachia) Peterson, Tracy (Madarron) Haynes all of Clayton, AL, Kimberly Womack and Derrick Womack of Eufaula, AL; six brothers: Charlie (Ozella) Chatter, Willie Chatter of Fort Myers, FL, Hosie (Marie) Battle of Columbus, GA, Allen (Marla) Chatter, Willie Johnson of Ohio  and Rufus (Vera) Chatter of Springhill, AL; one sister, Alvester Brafort of Eufaula, AL; a aunt, Grace Butler; Goddaughter, Evelyn Massey of Clayton, AL; twenty great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members.
