As water reflects the face, so one's life reflects the heart. -Proverbs 27:19
Robert Junior Anglin, a devoted servant, faithful steward, and beloved member of the
Clayton and Eufaula community. Robert was called to eternal rest on June 18, 2025, at the
age of 72.
Born on May 30, 1953, to Prior and Annie Ruth Anglin in Clayton, Alabama, Robert was
the second of four children. From a young age, he demonstrated a deep sense of
responsibility, humility, and compassion—qualities that would define his life and legacy.
Robert was a graduate of the Barbour County Public School System. Guided by a strong
foundation in faith, he accepted Christ early in life. As a long-time member of Old Mount
Silla Baptist Church, he served as a deacon, embodying the principles of leadership through
love, humility, and service.
On February 14, 1998, Robert was joined in holy matrimony to Jeanette Parks Anglin, his
beloved wife and partner in life. Their union was a beautiful testament to love and faith,
and together they nurtured a strong, close-knit nuclear family of six children. Robert took
immense pride in his role as a husband, father, and grandfather, cherishing the time he
spent with his family.
Throughout his professional life, Robert touched the lives of many through his work with
Louisiana Pacific and the Eufaula City Schools system. Even after his retirement, he
continued to serve his community as an entrepreneur, founding and leading Anglin’s
Janitorial Service.
More than his professional and religious commitments, Robert will be remembered for the
way he lived his life—with unwavering integrity, a servant’s heart, and a quiet strength
that brought comfort and stability to all who knew him. His presence was a pillar in his
family and community, encouragement to many, and a helping hand whenever needed.
In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his beloved brother, Marshall
Anglin; his sister, Dorothy Anglin Lluvera; a bonus son, Terence Williams, and cherished
aunts and uncles.
Robert leaves cherished memories to his devoted wife, Jeanette Anglin of Eufaula, AL; a
devoted son, Demetrick Anglin of Tampa, FL; a wonderful daughter, Venita (Ronell)
Gudes of Tampa, FL; bonus daughters, Rhonda (Christopher) Jackson of Eufaula, AL, and
Nina Williams of Auburn, AL; and a bonus son, Rodriquez' Williams of Eufaula, AL.
Additional memories are shared by his siblings, Wendell (Starr) Anglin of Ozark, AL,
James Anglin of Clayton, AL, and Linda Anglin of Ozark, AL; his aunts, Rebecca (Johnny)
Johnson of Tampa, FL, and Willean Anglin of Detroit, MI; his uncle, Sonny Shine of New
York; fifteen grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, four
brothers-in-law, two sisters-in-law, and special friends Mark Ricks, Aretha Butler, and
Patrice Griglen.
