Miss. Ruby Florence

Miss. Ruby Florence was born on October 4, 1937 to the late Eva Patrick in Barbour County, Alabama.

She attended Barbour County School, soon after she moved to Ohio in 1999. She moved back home and joined the St. Paul Baptist Church, Clayton, Alabama where she served until her death. 

On Saturday, February 21, 2015, she departed her life at her home in Clayton, Alabama. One sister, two brothers and her mother preceded her in death.

She leaves to cherish her memory, a loving and devoted sister, Rejina Crews, Clayton, Alabama; one cousin, Cecil (Mildred) West of Tallmadge, Ohio; one aunt, Grace Butler of Albany, New York and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Through Faith and Prayer our burdens take flight,

and our load of care becomes bearably light

And our heavy hearts are lifted above
