Sterlie Hollins Ware

Southern Memorial Funeral Home of Eufaula and Dothan Alabama. Sadly announces the passing of Mrs. Sterlie Hollins Ware, of Eufaula Alabama.

Sterlie Mae Ware - Hollins was born on June 29, 1959 to the union of L.C. Ware and Earlie Mae Sutton whom both preceded her in death. At a very tender age, Mary Elizabeth Ware (stepmother) took the role of both parents and raised her as her very own. She also preceded her in death.

Sterlie accepted Christ at a very young age as her Personal Savior and joined Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Eufaula, Alabama.

Sterlie attended Eufaula Public Schools and later attended Riley College. Sterlie embarked on a career at Crowns Health Care, where she served as a dedicated, devoted and loving housekeeper for twenty - one years.

Sterlie had a spirit of love, humility and a heart of pure gold. Her kindness was simply magnetic; people was drawn to her, because of her kind heart. Absolutely no one was a stranger to Sterlie. When it came to her family, she cherished her children and grandchildren. She loved to gather with them often.

Sterlie had a passion for fishing, she really loved it. She fished until her health no longer allowed her too.

On Tuesday, November 10, 2015, the Lord called her home to eternal rest. She will join her mother, Earlie Mae Sutton; her father, L.C. Ware and her son, Raheem Shamoll Ware whom all preceded her in death.

Sterlie leaves so many precious memories to be cherished by her loving & devoted husband, Paul James Hollins; two sisters, Martha Neal (Freddy), Cleveland, OH and Petronia Guilford (James), Eufaula, AL; four children, Shameka Ware, Eufaula, AL, Yeasive Ware, Opelika, AL, Shahee Ware, Eufaula, AL and Raheema Ware of Eufaula, AL; fifteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
