Deacon Terry Edward Crawford was born on November 28, 1964 in Eufaula, AL to the late Rev. Carlton Crawford, Sr. and the late Emma Lula Farmer Crawford. He was the sixth child of six; four brothers preceded him in death (Obadiah, J.W., Lee Andrew and Carlton Jr.). Terry confessed Christ at an early age. He joined Bethlehem Baptist Church, Old Baterville Rd and was ordained as a Deacon. He later joined Promise Land Church, where he served faithfully as Chairman of Deacon Board and Sunday School Superintendent under the leadership of Pastors James and Ella J. Johnson. In May 1953, he graduated from Clayton High School in Clayton, AL. He would later pursue training for operating commercial vehicles. His passion in life was “driving” commercial vehicles. He was employed by Bullock County Board of Education Transportation Department until his death. On January 8, 1990, he married the love of his life, Willie Anne Fluellen Crawford. To this union a son, Terry Jai Crawford, was born and preceded him in death. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Willie anne of Clayton, AL; their God-daughter, Shirleya Walker of Clayton, AL; two sisters and brother-in-law, Minister Delborah (Pastor Larry B) Harris of Kimball, TN and Gaye Holmes of Orange, NY; two aunts and one uncle, Peggy Alen, Rosemary Thomas and Elijah Parmer, all of Birmingham, AL; sisters-in-law, Brenda Crawford and Rose Mary Crawford of Eufaula, AL; Ethyl (Sylvester) Tate of Ft. Mitchell, AL; Joanne (Pastor Madison) Evans, Cloria Luke, Jennifer Fluellen and Jacque Smith, all of Phenix, AL; brothers-in-law, L.C. (Willie Mae) Griffin, Alfonzo (Katie) Griffin, Roosevelt Fluellen, all of Phenix City, AL, Eugene (Sandra) Fluellen of Columbus, GA, Benjamin (Undreal) Fluellen of Montgomery, AL, Halliton (Letha) Fluellen, Rayford (Nessie) Fluellen and Oliver (Tina) Crowell, all of Hurtsboro, AL and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
